Florida Keys Electric Bikes was founded to make getting around Key West easy, healthy, and fun. Tim built the company after years of island living and a desire to offer a low-stress way to see Old Town, Duval Street, Mallory Square, the Southernmost Point, and the beaches at Higgs and Smathers. We are family-run, focused on safety and service, and proud of our 5 star rating from 27 reviews.
Our fleet and what is included
We rent pedal-assist cruisers designed for comfortable island exploration, with pedal-assist top speeds up to 18 miles per hour. Every rental includes a helmet, front and rear lights, a lock, a front basket, a rear rack, and a GPS transponder for locating the bike. Bikes are maintained for reliability and comfort, and we also offer last season bikes for resale if you want to buy instead of rent.
Services, safety, and service area
Florida Keys Electric Bikes provides free delivery and pickup within Key West and the surrounding Florida Keys area. We offer a complimentary safety course and rider orientation by licensed instructors, typically scheduled by appointment in the early morning, often at 8:15 AM on scheduled days. We serve Old Town, Truman Annex, Fort Zachary Taylor, and neighborhoods across Key West, and we are happy to arrange drop off or pickup near popular landmarks like Mallory Square and the Southernmost Point.
